Where I've Been

Those of you who keep up with my work regularly (thank you!!!) may have noticed that I kind of fell off the face of the earth over the past year and a half or so. I definitely have not given up on my photography ventures, but did take a highly necessary break to focus on nursing school. Now that I've completed that exhausting chapter of my life, let me reintroduce myself- Hi, I'm Jacqui, and I'll be your nurse today- hopefully not though...hopefully just your photographer. If I'm your nurse, then you've unfortunately landed yourself in the emergency room and I sincerely hope you're having a better day than that. But anyways, yeah I'm a nurse now! *Whoop whoop*

Since graduating, I've spent this chunk of 2024 learning the ropes as a new grad, attending my nurse residency program, and going back to school for a higher degree (Can't stop, won't stop? Major Capricorn energy? Just love torturing myself with sleep deprivation and no free time? Your guess is as good as mine *shrugs*). All of this has meant taking a longer than originally planned hiatus from this wonderful side passion of mine. That being said, I'm excited to get the ball rolling again here in the photography world, and that's starting with highlighting some absolutely incredible people that I wouldn't have survived nursing school without. Taking their graduation photos was the least I could do to say thank you for all their support.

A Million Thanks

Nursing school is hard- like hands down one of the hardest things I've ever gone through. It is a time of the highest highs and the lowest lows, and it really makes you realize who has your back and who doesn't. There is not another group of people I wish I would have endured this marathon with, and I am forever grateful for the role each of you has come to play in my life.
